iNeedFallout
how do you use the mods you have downloaded?
Moraelin
Unpack them as the readme says, but always with directories. If in doubt, the .esp or .esm file and subdirectories like Textures or Meshes must end up in the Data directory. And I mean directly in it. Then start the launcher, select the data files (mods) you want to use, start the game. Typically each mod will tell you what it does, and where you can find whatever items or NPCs it added. Moraelin
Eh, you have a "data files" option in the launcher. Use it.
bben46
Mods are sent in what is called a packed or zipped format to make them smaller and easier to download. before using they must be unzipped or unpacked. To do this you will need a program such as the FREE 7-zip - available right here on tesnexus; http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15579 It is a self unzipping program, just click on the 7-zip file you download and follow the instructions to install it. Be sure to associate all of the various zip formats - 7z, zip, rar with the z-zip. Then any time you click on a zipped file 7-zip will open to help you unzip and place the file where it goes. Please be sure to read the documentation on the 7-zip, and also any documentation on any mod you download to be sure it is put in the right place.
