What I've learned

I've spent days trying to get good enough with the CS so I can make even a simple yet worthwhile mod. Eventually I figured it wasn't worth it and quit. After a while I figured I would try textureing. I found that in order to be good at Textureing, all you need is some experience with Photoshop. So I read some tutorials and did a practice go, which turned out to be THIS

After that I wanted to do something that people might apreciate. so for my second mod ever, I made THIS

Pretty much every one(so far) has liked it, and once I get back to my computer with all my stuff on it, I will start making more.

So if you are having trouble with the CS, maybe you should give texturing a go.

I tried texturing something once, but it didn't really turn out well. I thought learning how to use the CS was much easier. Plus, retextures aren't really the kind of mods I want to make.

But everyone has different skills and priorities.

Well, since I already had a decent amount of experience modding games like "Little Fighter 2" and just plain messin with me and my friends pictures, It was really easy for me to just read a tutorial on what to do and what not to do and jump right in.

Hell even the Mehrunes Razor mod I did can be done by a trained monkey. All I did was take three or four different in game textures and put them on Mehrunes Razor(I did this so it wouldn't look out of place in the game).
