xander2077
Since i like to add variety to the explore and combat music in morrowind, i thought i would post a playlist of what i have in my folders. this is a list of music i thought was appropriate and really captures the feeling of morrowind but adds variety to the existing tracks. for the explore music 1: Summer Fields from Fable the game2: Neverwinter wood from NWN3: Heart of the forest from NWN4: Bears spirit from Guild wars 25: Eirs solitude from GW26: Walls of ebonhawke from GW27: Sea of sorrows from GW28: The Shiverpeaks from GW29: Vaults of the priory from GW210: Bonding from Bat-21 (movie) somewhat captures the same themes as the others11-19: the existing folder tracks20: Throught he valleys from oblivion21: King and country from oblivion22: Wings of kynareth from oblivion23: Alls well from oblivion24: Watchmans ease from oblivion25: Sunrise of flutes from oblivion26: Dusk at market from oblivion27: Distant horizons from skyrim28 Far horizons from skyrim29: Solitude from skyrim for combat music 1: Battle with Tamini from GW22-7: the existing folder tracks8: Death Knell from oblivion9: Fall of the hammer from oblivion10: March of the marauders from oblivion11: Defeding the Gate from oblivion12: Bloody Blades from oblivion13: Daedra in flight from oblivion14: Bloodlust from oblivion15: Churls revenge from oblivion16: Steel on steel from skyrim17: Caught off guard from skyrim and that is about it. i also have some replacement tracks for other mods with music, but still have to play test those so that is it for now. not really finding time to do that lately, but figured i would share what i have in a list for those looking to add more variety to their music playlist if they like immersion but the songs become repetative. for the tracks i was looking for the theming element in the music where there is definitely a theme in each piece similar to what john williams and other composers accomplished in their works and jeremy soule has done exquisitely in the elder scrolls series, but i still have some more ambient pieces of his included because they almost get there but not quite. but are good enough. in fact i found a lot of his music was probably good for the games he made them for, but nothing compares to his work on the elder scrolls. they all seem to be missing that theming element found in his elder scrolls tracks where they are distinct and really grab the ears. or perhaps his brother, who doesnt really have the same style, was too much of an influence on the tracks and they sound mediocre compared to jeremy. too vague. vague works fine for things like caves and dungeons, but not so well during exploration or combat.
