Okay guys here goes. I recently tried to install the mod Craftable Castle Wall Patches which required me to add a line in one of the .ini files.

So I installed the mod, changed the line and it stopped a good few of my mods from working. So I proceeded to uninstall the mod and remove the added line from my .ini file. Still the same mods are still not working. Here's the snap... All of my mods are enabled, my .ini files are all correctly edited, my plugins.txt file is correct and set to read only, my plugins are not deactivating when I start up the launcher, and my load order is correct.

In a nutshell everything is perfect and as it was the night before when I saved. Now after trying to add a new mod some mods are not working with no clear reason why. Please help quick as I was just getting back into it during the Bank Holiday weekend getting my main save ready before purchasing the Season Pass now the the first DLC is out.

I need some extra brains to work this out. If any more details are needed please ask.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'disappeared'. On the Steam main page does it say Fallout 4 (Beta) or just Fallout 4. If it says Fallout 4 (Beta), it means that today you've download a 'patch' that effectively disables most mods.

All my mods quit working yesterday after Steam installed the latest patch: 1.5.141.0. At the same time I got the 16.3.2 software update from Radeon. When I started the game, no mods. At this point I'm assuming it has nothing to do with Radeon drivers.

I've systematically uninstalled everything, including NMM, and am currently reinstalling step by step. Right now I'm just trying to get one mod to work, any single mod. My next option is to try do do it manually.

Perhaps my problem is coincidentally related to crankflip's. Anyone else having this issue?

edit, I see mine says "beta" in my library. Thanks Steam. How do I get it back to what it was?

Yes, that's the patch which disables mods. It is supposedly to test the new survival mode. You can go back to the Steam page and opt out of beta, or you can get the workaround which was published on Nexus today, or you can do without mods until the testing period is over (which maybe forever).

Thanks, it's reinstalling as I type. I tried the Beta for 1.3 when it came out and didn't realize I'd enabled beta fore future betas.

Radeon R9 graphics have been screwed for many of us since beta 1.3, and this patch seemed better yesterday for much longer, but it eventually began to deteriorate towards the end of about 4 hours playing time. If I'm going to have screwed up graphics, I am going to have mods.

My problem is a little less straightforward. Some of my mods still work; Star Wars TIE Fighter Pip-Boy (4K Pip-Boy) and Hd Black.red Power Armor Station for example. But other mods have stopped working; Worsin's Immersive Power Armor Paint Garage and Craftable Custom Combat Armor for example.

And yes I am running the beta. I wasn't running it Monday night but I guess the beta must have updated yesterday while I was at work. Just about to revert to the non beta now to check it out :)

*Fingers Crossed* :P lol
