MRWalther Posted July 26, 2007 Share Posted July 26, 2007 Hi everyone :) I make a new topic because I didn' t find the things I' m going to talk about : -It could be interesting to create a horse rideable by two characters at the same time (I think about companions for the second character). -I don' t know if it' s possible, but making hair with physics would be great, especially with Triarii and Zeladin' s mod (same thing for capes). -Could someone create horse riding animations to make characters use the bridle? And the questions, very secondary cause we' re in the request section :closedeyes: -I' m trying to modify default fighting animations : position of one and two handed weapons when standing and running, and backwards power attack; can you tell me if it' s possible with Blender? When I try to import a skeleton with an attached body, Blender (2.44) says it can' t import skeletons with several nodes. -Does anyone knows how to get animation mods from http://eq2.matrix.jp/snup3/upload.html ? -I' m a noob on Blender : when I try to import an armor mesh, there is a python script error "Value Error: rotation must be rotation matrix". Hair can only support weighting to the skeleton when it is equipped as a wig, otherwise it remains static. While the engine supposedly supports havoked equipment, it it disabled by bethsoft (probably performance reasons). New animations aren't easy to get working right, any such animation would likely look odd when the horse isn't running, and it probably isn't possible to set an animation on the rider specifically when the horse is running. Does anyone can help me?As far as I know, new animations can only be done in 3dsmax. As far as I can tell, that site consists mostly of mods which are uloaded on english sites (probably without author permission), the files themselves are probably using translated names, so would cause problems with your game version unless you went through and fixed all those translation parts, or rebuilt the mod, the mod wouldn't work. As even the scripting may be in another language, this may not be possible. On the bright side, with exception of maybe one or two of the mods there, I think the others are available in english from english sites. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For the horse riding animation, I mean the character could hold the bridle, instead of having his hands anywhere. So it wouldn' t be an animation but a modification of the character's posture. The hands would stay fixed, as they are usually, but they would seem to be holding the bridle. I found a tutorial that explains how to create and modify animations with Blender, so I think it is possible. As I said, I' m a noob with it, but I' ll try to "edit" fightind animations :) . And can you help me with the python script error I get when I try to import armor meshes? I can import weapon meshes and modify them without any problem :( ...it may be caused by collision datas?
