Mammon0815
<Dr. Nick voice>Hello everybody!</Dr. Nick voice> I'm running a heavily modified game with about 270 mods, some merged with Wrye Flash and FNVEdit by hand. So it boils down to 236 mods eventually. Now as soon as I go over 221 loaded mods at the same time (in Wrye Bash and FOMM and the normal Loader) the game gives me missing meshes and distorted or wrong textures like in the attached file(I hope that file will upload correctly). I always thought 255 mods is the max. And these are native meshes and textures (Bottlecaps). Did anyone else experience something like that in their modded games with a similar mod count? No, I'm not looking for someone to hold my hand. I fixed it by merging some mods. I just thought it might be helpful to know. Later.
Quetzlsacatanango
It's been known since fo3. Some people hit it with a lower # of plugins, some higher. Seems to depend on the machine as far as I can tell.

BrokenMessiah
I think that is the result of a mod that was not properly installed.
Quetzlsacatanango
Oblivion would just crash when you loaded too many :)
seanr55
I just recently ran into this limit. I had to remove some mods that I didn't really need to have or want and merged a handful to get below my limit. This barrier really annoys me :wallbash: as there are many very good mods that I'd like to use and having to be careful what mods I can merge together so I avoid my game from becoming glitchy.
