well it was after an old companion idea, how about flexible melee weapons with an "Entangle" and "Disarm" special attacks in VATS if you have enough skill.

 

Bullwhip (you may now begin playing the indiana jones theme music)

Cat O' Nine Tails (stangely Gammorra will let you take this in, so will the atomic wrangler)

Kami (Chain with scycle ninja weapon)

Flail/morning star (chain with nasty spiked bit on the end)

Liberation Day/Caporia: a set of slave shackles that can be used as a nasty weapon, and a martial arts style to go with using it. (perferably taught by an escaped legion slave)

Metoeor Ball (Gogo Kubari's weapon of choice in Kill Bill)

Bolos (ok, a ranged recoverable chain/entangling weapon that should be purchaseable from cabalaroes or tribles)

I think I mentioned having an escaped slave/legion slave revolt creator character to teach whips, and other flexible weapons as well as teaching caporiea techniques (which would mean that the character would be either african american or hispanic)

Ah...I see it now. Still, Doctore would be great. As in Spartacus Blood and Sand's Oenomaus Doctore, not the Gods of the Arena Doctore, and...well...I'm starting to get carried away now. Damn the 6 episode mini-series of Gods of the Arena, we needed more.
