VaultPi
an idea for a quest chain, partially based off Angel Heart, add a new character to the strip named "Louis Cypher", who wants the character to hunt down some naughty folks, (and incidentally find out some of your own back ground, and no surviving getting shot by Benny was for a reason.) Oh yes, this is a 24karat set up from the beginning, and The Man of Wealth and Taste really wants some souls that got away....
TheMightyLordSheogorath
Can there be a NPC named Charlie Daniels II?
VaultPi
Why not, but how much do golden fiddles go for?
TheMightyLordSheogorath
Why not, but how much do golden fiddles go for? Well, if you're in bind and way behind, willin' to make a deal, it could go for a Southern fiddler from Georgia named Johnny's soul. It'd be great if Louis would refer to the courier as a "Hairy Angel". As in, "Ah, there's my Hairy Angel". You know...since, well *Movie Spoiler that's unrelated to a New Vegas spoiler* is named *Movie Spoiler that's unrelated to a New Vegas spoiler". hadoumastery
Really hope someone picks this up, I'd love to see it. And golden fiddles are... well how much are 4 golden bricks from dead money? Because that'd be just about the amount (in FNV anyhow).
VaultPi
Of course Old Man Scratch would probably set himself up somewhere in Gammora, it's just kinda deticated to him. Other influences are probably Brimstone, and Crossroads. Of course with the idea of bounty hunting for the Devil, there could be a obtion of a strip denizen who made a deal, and wants your help getting his/her soul back (ala crossroads)
greenknightfury
Loved Brimstone! And talk about perfect practice to later play Lex Luthor's father! Playing the Devil was great for that...also helped steer him away from the goofball parts he normally had before that. The fact that this referenced one of my all time favorite songs got it viewed....but I would love to see this as vanilla NV has pretty much no supernatural stuff at all and the whole very Lovecraftian Dunwich building and it's tie to Point Lookout and it's very own Necronomicon-esque book were some of my favorite bits...but then I always seem to get some sci-fi in my fantasy and some fantasy in my sci-fi.
