I don't think I'd be interested in making a mod like that, it doesn't really make a great deal of sense to me. But maybe it will appeal to another mod author. devinpatterson Posted April 2, 2016 Share Posted April 2, 2016 I was doing some stuff in teh geck and whipped up a couple of mods following your request.The first is a perk (should really be a trait) that resulted in a mutated poision gland in the player, as such they can apply poison continuously to any appropriate weapon. You didn't specify what poison so I just used silver sting. It is replenished automatically. You can hotkey it so that you can apply it to your current weapon with a tap. Code is XX000ADF The Second is also a perk, and a mutation, that resulted in your sweat glands producing copious amounts of toxin. Hmmmm I didn't think it was a good idea for all melee weapons have a poison effect......just didn't make sense to me personally. I tried to to frame it in a way that made sense for the gameworld with the first mod, kind of like the cave fungus that can grow on your body and give you one every hour (except that one is cooler because you get some mushrooms visually growing out of your shoulder). On the second one I pretty much threw in teh towel on achieving any kind of justification. If it was electricity or something then it would make sense. Electrocyte cells (electric eel) and a metal weapon make a pretty good explanation for a shock effect. But I couldn't think of anything plausible for a poison effect on all weapons, so I just cashed out and went with the modified sweat glands. Bleh But glad if it's any use to you.
