tsunami17 Posted March 31, 2016 Share Posted March 31, 2016 I followed the steps to enter Survival Mode beta on steam, downloaded the patch and now it says "Fallout 4 [beta]" on my list. However, when I enter the game, nothing is different. My current games aren't on survival mode, and I only have the regular difficulty options. Same if I start a new game. Additionally, when I set the difficulty to Survival (thinking that survival mode replaced that), it doesn't change. I can still save, fast travel, etc. I also know that it isn't working properly because it didn't disable my mods. Can anyone help shed some light on this? NDDragor Posted April 1, 2016 Share Posted April 1, 2016 (edited) After you change the difficulty to survival and return to the menu a message should pop up telling you that the update is currently in beta and some other stuff about the new survival mode. You have to chose Yes on this message or else the survival mode wont be activated. I am not sure about the mods, but my active mods got disabled as soon as I launched the beta.
