Yumiyashi Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 (edited) I made a mod and saved it.. then i closed the GECK to play the mod i wanted to add some more and change some stuff but is there a way todo this withough overwriting and causing bugs? because i keep getting bugs. is there a way to resume editing of a mod? caramellcube Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but to resume editing a mod you've already started, just go to File > Data, select the mod from the list and click 'Set as Active File'. What sort of bugs are you getting? If you want to be able to work on a mod without loosing the old copy of it, you could just make a backup copy of the .esp each time you close the GECK, that way if something goes wrong you can just go back to an earlier version.
