RelicDuDe
Okay, now, i played the Witcher enhanced edition, and found it quite entertaining. Love in the cards... oh well.. at least you have something to collect...:) The story was good, swordplay the beginning a bit nerdy.., Geralt bend over like an old man... with the sword thing above his head.. hacking in on whatever or whomever is the enemy.. funny. Personally i thought the decisions of game 1, would effect the second game.. but i have played the Witcher 2 now several times.. with and without the save-game from 1, and found nothing much different. Helping the squirrels in 1, doesn't seem to have any effect on the damn elves in 2. if you choose that path... etc etc.. even with Triss i noticed no differences.. maybe i should try the elven girl in my next play-trough... however i suspect that i will end up in Triss's bed anyway.... seems to be inevitable... And i read on several forums that the Witcher2 has 16 different endings... but guys/girls... is it me, or have i only seen the 2 ?.. That is... you either kill Letho, or you don't.. And no... the dragon and the other witches aren't an ending,.. and weather you save Triss or not, doesn't matter much either.. besides it seals the faith of Saskia/Dragon... because if you don't do save Triss.. Letho will. Which is a good reason for me to let him walk.. certainly if i try the game in Nightmare mode.. ;) So that was a bit disappointing... but overall.. i think its a great game.. no regrets on buying it, and i will buy every DLC they bring out. coz I like it... That is.. Apart from the go and fetch side-quests.. (well at least you get paid for it..) Your goal and destination always being behind a mountain you cant climb... and the constant lack of money and loot-space... it was rather enjoyable. I just wanted to throw a burning stick in the hen-house... and wait whom will set me straight... coz i have the feeling i need some.. ;) That is,... i must be missing something,.. this cant be all.. save from 1 doesn't matter much. and only 2 paths and 2 different endings.. that will be boring rather soon... Or perhaps i am right., and this is the reason for the missing Witcher 1 save-games on the nexus.... :P

Gone through eight playthroughs and really (just as thou) cant find more than two of 'm. And thats on all difficulty levels. In that perspective the game (along with all the scheisse that was wrong with it technicly) failed epicly! Good thing we have some people making it more enjoyable by creating good mods for it! Indeed... however, if its up to the game makers, the mod scene is history... seeing as Mass effect series, dragon age2, as well as Witcher series have no toolkit.... If they want to lose customers... that's the way to do it,.. Coz they'll never get me on a console. those things are for kidz.. no real gamer would touch 'm. The former PC script-kiddies... that never had a real pc in the first place, but used daddies, and certainly not a over clocked, souped up game monster, that makes gaming so enjoyable, and that will never be beaten by any damn console. Word to the wise: don't buy Dungeon siege 3.. unless they drop the price to at least 5-10 euro... it isn't worth any more then that... Played half an hour of it.. and was already surprised it didn't crash.. seeing this is an Obsidian game.... Just saying.... Don't say i didn't warn you....:)
