Attribute Uncapper

Hello, I'm looking for a mod that uncaps all attribute and skill values to 200, I am aware of the Elys mod but the problem is that even though it uncaps it for "All actors" for some reason the game doesn't really take advantage of it. Even when I had 150+ attributes all enemies I saw had their strongest attributes at 100.

Is there any mod that actually makes all actors attain values beyond 100?

Thanks a lot

NPC won't take advantage of the uncapped values, both for NPC with fixed stats and NPC with dynamic stats:

- NPC with fixed stats: stats were capped at 100 in vanilla so the developers assigned them values between 0 and 100.

- NPC with dynamic stats: they use a formula which adjust their stats basing on the player's level and stats, but this formula is capped at 100.

So, nope: NPC will never take advantage of such high stats unless you manually create a mod which makes the NPC use fixed stats, and use value beyond 100 (and you need to do this for every single NPC/creature in the game, with very high chance of conflicts with tons of mods).

Well then it is highly misleading for Elys' mod to claim that it uncaps values so they go beyond 100 for all actors.

So there is not a single mod that make NPC grow beyond 100?

I think it is only logical that if there is a mod that lets the player reach skills and attributes at 200 then there is a tool that would do the same for NPCs otherwise it is simply game-breaking

Without uncappers, you wouldn't be able to increase attributes at all (unless you use cheats), and skills past 100 would be meaningless, as the damage/armor/sneak/security/... formulas are capped at 100.

(example) with blade skill 255 you deal the same damage with blade compared to blade skill 100, because all 155 levels above 100 give no bonus.

Uncapper mods just allow Player and NPC to increase their attributes/skill above 100 and makes skills effective above 100. It doesn't actually increase these stats for NPCs.

Elys is saying that Players and NPC can benefit from skills past 100 (and not that you will see NPC with 236 strength), but the NPC are still limited to their fixed attributes (which nobody touched) or the dynamic leveling formula (which is still capped), so they will never reach stats above 100 alone.

If you use a mod which add followers, you can give them enchanted armors with strong Fortify Attribute/Skill effects, so they TEMPORARY increase their stats above 100, so they can use the uncapper plugin as well.

In no case NPC will increase their BASE attributes/skills above 100, simply because they don't even have the necessary AI to do so.

Take the Armorer skill: NPC with armorer skill above 75 won't repair their equipment past 100% (a mod try to simulate this).

You (as Player character) are the only one who can level up skills and select 3 attributes to increase, so only you can increase the BASE attributes and skills above 100.

Anyway, there are 2 plugins:

  • Elys Uncapper: it does nothing but unlock the limit of attribute and skill. Allow hand/weapon damage and magicka cost to use skills above 100. Not all skills are meaningful yet.
  • AV Uncapper: more recent than Elys's plugin, it unlock the limits and adjust the formula so high skills/attributes won't make you overpowered as Elys' plugin, and also unlock all skills formulas (so also block, heavy/light armor, sneak, security, ...).

I understood the principle behind the plugin's purpose that it allows skills above 100 to actually make sense in its respective way (strength - damage, magic schools - magicka cost, etc.)

But from what I know, at some point, let's say at lvl 40, there will be lots of enemies that scale with me and also have some of their attributes at 100.

I wanted to ask if there is a mod that makes NPCs scale beyond 100 so we can all be comparable.

Because if I am the only character that is able to do it I might as well use tgm and kill the entire enjoyment of the game ;)
