ericklac
I'm having a slight problem which is proving to be a bit.. er.. hard, to mod with. My mods straight up don't work. I am using a shared version of the game, which I assume may be the biggest cause of the problem. If not, here's what I have going on: Fallout4: [Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1sResourceDataDirsFinal=sResourceIndexFileList=Fallout4 - Textures1.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures2.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures3.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures4.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures5.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures6.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures7.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures8.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures9.ba2sResourceStartUpArchiveList=Fallout4 - Startup.ba2, Fallout4 - Shaders.ba2, Fallout4 - Interface.ba2sResoruceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\SResourceArchiveList=Fallout4 - Voices.ba2, Fallout4 - Meshes.ba2, Fallout4 - MeshesExtra.ba2, Fallout4 - Misc.ba2, Fallout4 - Sounds.ba2, Fallout4 - Materials.ba2SResourceArchiveList2=Fallout4 - Animations.ba2SGeometryPackageList=Fallout4 - Geometry.csgSCellResourceIndexFileList=Fallout4.cdxSResourceArchiveMemoryCacheList= Fallout4 - Misc.ba2, Fallout4 - Shaders.ba2, Fallout4 - Interface.ba2, Fallout4 - Materials.ba2 Fallout4Prefs: [Launcher]bEnableFileSelection=1uLastAspectRatio=1 Tried running the game directly through the .exe and NMM, to no avail. BrainSlugs83
You have "sResoruceDataDirsFinal" twice, the second one reads "sResoruceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\" -- definitely delete that line. You only need it once, and it needs to read "sResoruceDataDirsFinal=".
Jeoshua
What the poster above me said. The files are read in the order of Fallout4.ini, then Fallout4Prefs.ini, then Fallout4Custom.ini. The last value takes precedence. This is similar to load orders, except you can't change the order by changing the dates of these files. So that last sResourceDataDirsFinal line overrode your loose files mod in the Fallout4.ini file. Switch those two around (or remove the entries from both lines after the '=' and have the game support loose files by default).
