icecreamassassin Posted April 3, 2016 Share Posted April 3, 2016 So I don't normally have this issue because I don't use Vanilla NPC's in quests but I just took over another mod for an update that uses spliced NPC dialog files for custom dialog options and have been rebuilding the quest from scratch because of how unnecessarily complex it was made and have one little issue I'm uncertain of. Urag at the winterhold library has his default 3 vanilla topics. When I come to him for the quest, he has the fourth option but as the quest progresses other options replace it, but this new option will not appear until after I have clicked on one or more of his generic conversation options. The custom dialog are all set the same way, all have priority 50 and all conditions are met prior to speaking with him. They are also all set as top branch topics but they never appear unless I compliment his library, etc. Nothing is jumping out at me that would be causing this as far as I can tell. Because the player response line was lengthy, the option had to be scrolled down to, normally it would just cut off but this one has 3 lines, so it just hid it down below.
