DingerDan
Placing things in the render window can be kind of fiddly, especially with putting caves together. I end up with completely squit segments, with gaps everywhere... Is there a more efficient way of placing things? Especially with the rotation of objects with the mouse being really choppy and inaccurate. Could anyone help me out? ^^
wetblanket
You want the two buttons on the toolbar after undo/redo, namely Snap to Grid and Snap to Angle. Also, open the Preferences dialog and set things to suit you. Snap can be turned on in here too - 64 (keep this to a multiple of 4 ie. 16, 32, 64, 128 etc.) for snap to grid and 45 or 90 for snap to angle are convenient settings. General rule of thumb when placing, eg. cave pieces, is to turn on snap, place your first piece, double-click on it and change the xyz co-ordinates to 0. Subsequent pieces will snap together nicely. Oh my god, thank you, that's the EXACT feature I needed. ^^
