Kerrisis
I figured I'd give Oblivion and Shivering Isles a play through in the run up to the release of Skyrim. I thought "Why not install a few mods to make it look better and add some spice?". So, I wandered over here and had a look, only to be confronted with literally tens of thousands of mods (and that's just this one site)! I've looked through the Mod lists sticky, but even they list hundreds each! I'm reasonably familiar with the concept of mods and using mod managers from Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but with this many to trawl through I'll be here months just familiarizing myself with them! As such, I figured I'd ask the people here, who're going to know infinitely more about this than I do, a few questions: - Are there any unified texture or content packs, like the HDTP project for Deux Ex, that combine many mods into one install?- What would be the best environment, character/NPC, and equipment mods to install?- Are there any particularly good mods that add extra content (areas, quests etc)? Massively open-ended and difficult to answer questions, I know, but if I can't find some help on this then I'm not going to get anywhere, and I'll probably end up diving back into EVE Online until Skyrim - It's simpler and easier to understand! =P Thanks in advance! Ghoulz
Eh, only get environment improvements if your machine can handle em, and most of the rest is mostly about taste. I suppose though that OOO is something you would prefure if your looking to improve the game.
