DingerDan
I guess I messed something up while working on my mod, now whenever I try to open it, it says 'Missing object (02003DF8) for reference (0200557C) Continue Playing? If I press Yes, it comes up with another dialog featuring similar numbers, then it says 'Construction set has stopped working'. My guess is that it's a bad mod. Any way I can repair it? I can guess which reference it is, so if I could remove those references it should work fine.
David Brasher
You may be able to assassinate the problem references from afar, without crashing anything, by modcleaning in the CS or TES4Edit. With the CS, you would have to have written down the numbers of the bad references, and not actually open the mod in the CS before going to file details and toggling "ignore" on the problem edits. When the mod is healed and can be opened again, you will want to check and see what it was you destroyed. If it is anything important, you will want to replace it. If you have not done a lot of work on the mod since the problem developed, it may be easier to load an recent save of the mod that is not bugged and continue your work from that point. Thank you so much, I thought all my work had gone to crap. Check out the progress log for my mod, you may be interested :) +Kudos
