icecreamassassin
Ok, so in addition to my other post about two of my 4 identically seeming dialog options, 2 of them appear only after vanilla root topics have been selected, I also have a couple other weird issues that I can't seem to resolve. So any help would be appreciated. I have a quest marker placed on an object inside a cell which is properly filled as an alias, and I have the object targeted in the quest objective, AND that objective is in fact set to be displayed properly, BUT the marker is constantly placed on the interior door as if you have to go back outside, but when outside the marker is still pointing to the door like you have to go back in again. Could it be a Navmesh issue? I also recall an option somewhere where a door can block quest markers but I'm somehow blind and not seeing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as these are the last hiccups to finalizing what I am working on. Thanks.
gezegond
Hi. I remember having a similar issue once but can't remember how I fixed it. Where does your marker show in the map? Do you fill the alias manually or via script?
Guest deleted5528329
move the markers more in to the room and outside and turn them in the right direction
icecreamassassin
Alias is filled through the quest alias setup and I know it is filling properly because none of my aliases are optional, and I have the stage before it placing another alias item inside of the alias in question (a container). The object a spider wrapped corpse, not a trigger box, and I'm aware of the rotational bug. The corpse is also well inside the dungeon and nowhere near the doorway. Also verified that the quest stage it pointing to alias and that the alias is in fact set to the treasure corpse.
icecreamassassin
Figured it out. As I suspected, it was Navmesh to blame. Somehow in merging the two original ESP/ESM plugins into one, it imported the vanilla navmesh AND the modded Navmesh so the quest marker was linking back through the doorway continuously. I deleted the modded navmesh and now it's fine.
