I've been having problems with

my game freezing I have oblivion updated I have boss, I have obse updated, OBMM updated and when I try to start a new game my game freezes heres my load order to see if you guys can help me with it I used BOSS to reorder them but for some reason its crashing when I hit start New Game.

Can you load games in OBSE without it crashing/freezing before you get into the actual gameplay?

I deactivated all mods did a clean install , it doesn't matter if I load from obse or the actual game launcher it freezes right when I click new game, now just to let you know my game disc is majorly messed up with scratches I've tried cleaning it but no luck. I don't understand hows its still freezing after a "fresh" install I have oblivion in C:/ drive because I'm running WIndows 7 the program files don't like me modding my game. I have no conflicts with any mod.

Check your antivirus is not set to scan "on file access" - if a file on the game disc is causing it problems to read, it can lock the whole game up.

 

Of course, if this IS the problem, then you need a suitable work-around which won't leave your computer wide open for attacks.
