sandvichman
Sorry if I am making a noobish error here, Ok, so I just got FWE, MMM, and WMK, and the appropriate FOIP patches for each of them; but the FOIP page says I need to use FO3edit to make a merged patch to run them together. I followed the instructions on the FAQ; I even got the damn manuel for FO3edit, but it isnt working. Following the instructions, I load all of my mods in FO3edit, then I select all of them and say: create merged patch. It asks me for a filename, I give it one, then it creates my patch like it says it should. However, I cannot exit FO3edit via the normal way (Alt-S) as my it just beeps, and if I use the close button (in the corner) it asks me to save and closes, but I cannot find my patch. I CANNOT FIND IT ANYWHERE!!! Its not in the data folder, in my FO3 Directory, or even in my harddrive according to the search program. Please someone tell me if I am doing this all wrong. Do I even need a merged patch of all my mods? Should I not load the masters? Help? In this attempt I named my patch DOH. I have been modding New Vegas since it came out, but I just got the PC version of FO3 and I dont understand why Bethesda and whomever made FO3edit have decided to torture me; but they sure as hell are doing a good job. :pinch: Edited June 23, 2011 by sandvichman
