Which gfx/texture mods brings the best visual improvements?

Vivid Textures is by far the best general LAND texture improver, and has a good version that is lower weight on the GPU than vanilla textures. There's a little texture mod that really fixes the lo-res road signs. There's the mod that re-textures all the wasteland creatures that is most excellent too.

NOBODY can recommend and ENB- each one is designed to give a DIFFERENT visual experience- and which you prefer is 100% a matter of taste.

This is why Nexus has a SCREENSHOT section. If you cannot even use that to make choices, you really shouldn't be trying to use these types of mod at all.

Thanx for the reply. I've tried ENB and shaders but I'm not 100% sure what they do. ENB is color settings and shaders is darkness/brightness? I tried one ENB and it was very foggy, maybe its the depth of field....its so much to read ;)

I run the list that EmissaryofWind was talking about. I use Cinematic Excellence because it looks amazing, and also has many settings you can switch between just by pushing different buttons. Like, 2 different shader palletes, you can turn ENB on and off and still use the shader. It's really well made.

If its to dark you just push F12. If you want it even lighter you push Shift+F12 and you can see everything, its that easy.

A lot of it comes down to the matter of your own preferences, but I've managed to mod the game to a very decent level of graphics IMO and am happy to share the list of mods I used.

Here's the list of my preferred mods and example screenshots + video as well: https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/49da3p/selection_of_the_best_graphics_mods_for_fallout_4/

It's "as of" the beginning of March though, so some very awesome mods have been released in the meantime (e.g. Grasslands, Ojo Bueno Milk Machine, Pip-Boy Flashlight). I'm going to do a new video of my current setup as well soon though, so stay tuned to my YT channel or Nexus page if interested
