Nifskope Help.

So I am trying to add an effect/property to my mesh, specifically a BSEffectShaderProperty so I can add an electric field to my mesh. One of the armor meshes has the property I want so if possible can I copy it over to my mesh?

I am trying to do this in nifskope but have no idea what I am doing :/

Can anybody help me out here?

I hope you can get the help you need. I'm also looking for help for something involving mesh. but haven't gotten any replies from anyone who can help.

I really need help with this xD So far this is what I've gotten up to, the model appears in-game but the effect is not there and I have no idea what I need to do;

will someone knowledgeable please help here? This kind of information could really help a lot of people too.

I have no idea how to help other than trying to help keep your topic up on the first page so it gets seen.

Does this video help? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppTXCJ0SZ88

It's about getting new meshes to work by pasting info into an existing one. Around 3:05 a BS shader is assigned to an existing mesh by changing a reference link.

Now if someone could tell me how to export from Blender to Nifskope w/o my mesh looking inside out, I'd be happy. Can't help but feel foolish spending several hours attempting to add a slice of Boston cream pie to the game. :wallbash: :unsure:

So, the tesla / electric effect seen on the Tesla power armor, is not just a simple BSEffectShaderProperty. Thats only part of the equation, its actually an animation, which needs the BSEffectShaderPropertyFloatController. In cases like this, adding this with how Nifskope is currently (Incomplete), it really is often times much easier to load your mesh into a file that has the desired effect, and give the effect to that mesh, removing the old content in the process.

I haven't toyed with that particular animation yet, but I am guessing that will be your best bet.
