Shivering Isles Ingredient Fix for Mages Guild Chest?

I've been looking on TESSource and I just can't seem to find it. If it hasn't been done yet I think it would be a good idea, maybe. I can't believe they don't just let you duplicate the SI ingredients to begin with. It puzzles me.

I think the Shivering Isles is almost an 'imaginary' world. Sheogorath permitted a connection in an emergency but just through the one door. You cannot take companions through in either direction etc. Having said that most SI ingredients exist in large quantities so if you need them they are relatively easy to collect and of course the effects are the same as Ob ingredients, so you shouldn't have too many probs.

Malchik's got a point. The premise behind the chest is that someone identifies the ingredient in the chest, then goes and finds some more. If that person came across a fungal stalk, they would have no idea of where to find it. Possible they go to the isles, then go mad and don't return.

I was always under the assumption that it being named "Enchanted Chest" and the lady who told you about it specifically saying "I got tired of getting his ingredients so I made that chest to clone them." And how would a gathering mage get stuff like Daedra Hearts and Bloodgrass? He'd have to go into a gate, wouldn't he, or buy it from a merchent... but that's expensive and moots the point of free ingredients... also, Sheogorath's world, it's just another version of Oblivion, albeit a happier one, perhaps. Maybe. So not being able to duplicate ingredients from The Shivering Isles, the logic would also hold for not letting you duplicate ingredients from the standard Oblivion Gate Worlds from the base game.

 

I dunno, I think too much, maybe...

The lower one should load last. But if all you want is the SI ingredients then you just need to use the SI-ArchmagesChestIngredients.esp, the other one changes other things to do with the other guilds.
