BlueBeard1983
I was wondering if there's a mod that gets rid of skill points at level up, and adds in skill leveling? In other words, the more you use a skill, the more points you have in it. So to raise you're guns skill, you need to use guns, to raise lockpick, you need to pick locks. If not, would someone be able to make it?
hadoumastery
I am very familiar with the geck and it's uses, so far nothing like this is possible -and you may as "Why?" - And the answer to that is simple, the game is hardcoded to make you level up a certain way. Now it is possible to remove skill points (very easy infact) but then your skills would never level (besides using a book). Although I have an idea to make what you want work: Disable skill points upon level up and instead make it where you just select your perks and gain HP, and instead have a script that makes it so that if you pick 10 locks you gain a point of lockpick or something like that, or if you shoot a gun 100 times you gain a point of guns skill. Which you 'COULD' do with a script, but I am not yet that proficient with scripting, and if that kind of script isn't possible, then maybe just make it entirely based on skill books or learning from quests? or even make a script that has it so after you pick 10 locks you get a skill book on lock picking? I suppose what you want is possible, but it would be very hard.
