BOT999
hi, when adventuring, especially in cities, i encounter weird texture popins, usually i get freezes and sudden loading/lad and the loading icon displays on the bottom right and i have to wait for it. any fix for this? thanks
vTemporalZEROv
The lil loading icon/freeze up I also have from time to time, trying to find a cure, myself. But the slow loading textures is Beth's stupid new way of loading textures, 2 things to do to essentially remove most of it, for some people all of it, is go into your ini and put: iTextureDegradeDistance0 = 1600iTextureDegradeDistance1 = 3000iTextureUpgradeDistance0 = 1200iTextureUpgradeDistance1 = 2400 (or higher if you want, but not exactly essential) And also, this is very very important, almost essential if the above doesn't work for you, check your EnBoost local file, or Enb local file and make sure you are not using more video memory than you have available, that can actually cause lots of problems *wow surprise surprise, never woulda thought* but it actually causes the weird mushy textures. BOT999
hey thanks, anyway i have 2gb of vram and 8 gb of ram. I put videomemorysize to 4000 since enboost principle indicates that it's ram + vram - fallout 4 ram. I was wondering if this was the reason for my texture loading problem? what should i put in videomemoryize to get better stability?
vTemporalZEROv
Use autodetect memory size, and also for backup use the enbtool thing that you can get from the site and put that number as the video size as well, incase you wanna turn off autodetect, or I believe it also shows when you boot up the game, says like available video size or something on the screen.
