Bigmanthesecond
Earlier today I was building some foundations on Spectacle island for what was going to be a hotel when the game crashed to desktop, or at least I thought it did, I opened steam to see it was updating. The update was visible on the games library page but not under the downloads tab. When I went to relaunch using F4SE the game didn't load and instead it pulled up the fallout 4 launcher. Thinking something stupid had happened I went and opened up Nexus Mod Manager to see that nothing was wrong there, so I tried using the 1.9 version of F4SE thinking maybe I had been updated to 1.5, I was not it didn't run and told me I was using the wrong version of F4SE. So after reinstalling the old f4se I attempted to run the game to no luck, now when I open nexus mod manager all of my mods are disabled and the game won't even launch when I launch it from the main game launcher. I've already tried all the guides to enabling mods on Nexus, they don't work. Any advice would be great.
ddavies10693
There was not an update released with in the past few days, unless you opted into the Beta, in which case definitely opt out. That would explain almost all issues, including the mods being disabled. Check if you're in Beta right now or not.
NVManiac
I have the same problem. was playing f4 when game ctd'd. checked steam, a small download was in progress, 67%@160+ kb, exited steam, went back and download had finished. restarted as normal, game wouldn't load, launcher stuck in loop, just keeps loading the launcher, never does start game. deactivated all mods, same problem. verified cache in steam, updated two files that didn't validate., same problem, game never does start, the launcher just keeps looping. even launching game using steam, same problem. launch screen starts, click 'play', launches 'launcher', over and over and over, ad infinitum. your suggestions are welcome. thx,- NVM
