SOCOM - Sentinels of Commonwealth

I didn't want to shoot down the title without offering an alternative so I have been googling synonyms for sentinel and guardian. I came up with some

 

Wardens / Warders of the Wastes / Wasteland

 

Cerberus of Commonwealth. COC is a command familiar to modders so that ones kind of a pun

 

picket; Military. a soldier or detachment of soldiers placed on a line forward of a position to warn against an enemy advance.. Still trying to think of a way to use that Picket Defences was the best I could come up with

 

Hahaha, thanks for the feedback. Here are my thoughts:

- Wardens sound like a pretty cool name, yet not too complex and has meaning to it.

- Cerebrus? Here is the definition I found for it:

 

noun, plural Cerberuses, Cerberi

Also, Kerberos. Classical Mythology. a dog, usually represented ashaving three heads, that guarded the entrance of the infernal regions.

a formidable and often surly keeper or guard.

 

Well, I am not completely sure. Would make a lot more sense if I re-wrote the story a little bit. Plus, it's a bit too fantasy sounding in my opinion. Could well work as some sort of metaphor, however. :D

I named my newest character Halle so Halle the Cerberi ? Just kidding I think Wardens of the Wastelands was my best effort. Picket Defenses would be a great name for a weapons and armor shop

I agree with both. Still want something that has a nice sounding to its abbreviation too. Wardens of the Wastelands would be either: "WAW", "WATW" or even "WARWA". It just does not ring. :/
