Second, the mod description or readme should give technical details that may help about compatibilty, requirements, etc. Providing us the links would make it easier to get another set of eyes on it. And third, the mod discussion thread on the mod page is a good place to ask, even if it doesn't appear to be active the owner can see an activity list and may be checking periodically. I chimed in here because even though I don't use any of those mods myself, IIRC there was some talk about an issue with a weapons mod and I am pretty sure it was CFWNV. You could try a forum search on that. I recall someone asking about it maybe a month or less back. I don't remember the details but I am pretty sure it was CFWNV and the guy could not get it to work.
