bigv32
I am getting tired of constantly closing and reloading the GECK when I want to test my MOD. Is it safe to leave the GECK open and running while I play the game? Obviously I do not intend to leave the game on while I edit the mod, but can I leave the GECK on? Thanks Edited June 25, 2011 by bigv32
ABVXYzackattack
Ya it is. But you can't edit it while the game's running otherwise the game will crash. BTW its GECK, not GEEK :P

drakeelvin
I also leave GECK open if I'm editing an ESP and want to use FOMM to create an ESM. However, if I load FNVEdit to clean the ESP, I close GECK first. That just makes sense. And like @AB said, I also leave GECK open all the time when I'm testing mods in the game itself.
