He has recently installed Morrowind onto his Windows XP laptop and has gotten the game to run perfectly. From what I can gather within the E-mail, he has the GOTY edition, fully updated with the community and code patches, and has MGE, MSE, Wyre Mesh and Better bodies installed. But even though it seems perfect and has had no errors, as of yet, during startup, he is faced with an odd issue when he is starting a new game--The appearance of the character\Character creation screen shows only a black head. No details, just a black head. From how he described it, it seems to be as if it was a shadow. Due to the lack of knoweldge with Morrowind, I am asking the folks here if they know of any reasons behind this problem, or if it is a problem at all.
