I stealth, therefore I crash.

So I was alright for a while, now, without having added anything in a few weeks, I'm experiencing crashes every time I try to stealth.

 

I crash even when I toggle TCL, in first OR third person. I don't have any BBB mods, or body mods, or face mods or anything that should (key word, should) alter skeletons, and it can't be a collision problem either.

Hmm, you have not added any mods at all, and suddenly this is happening? Have you upgraded or changed any of your tools, like Wrye Bash or BOSS, etc.? Have you changed your load order?

 

I don't use DR, but are you sure it doesn't change the skeleton? I don't know if that would be your problem, though.
