andresmarver
Greetings, So I believe one of the 200+ mods I have in my load order is making a certain bandit tent invisible all throughout the game. This tent I am talking about is the solid one, there's one outside Ustengrav, for example, and some forts have it as well. I really don't mind the tent, to be quite honest, except for the fact that it is invisible. This means that there IS collision, but no actual mesh or texture. All I want to do is select it so I can check which mod is causing the problem. The main issue here is, I can't select it. I've tried toggling wireframes without much success, trying to click it directly, and even throwing spells at it so it shows a model, but none of these work. If anyone knows how to select an invisible object, that would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Andres
NexusComa
Sounds like they are still there just missing textures or the meshes are asking for the wrong textures.Without a texture to click on there is no way to remove them using the console. andresmarver
Does anyone know the ID for that object? So I can look it up in TESVEdit. I have tried to find it in the UESP wiki with no avail.
NexusComa
Have no clue what object that is ... and why would you even want to do that ... if a mod has a bug or error it's out of my mod list.No matter how small the error. Are you sure you don't have a loading order error ... you do use LOOT right?
andresmarver
Yeah, I use LOOT and any other programs needed for my mods to work properly. This just seems like a small mishap with textures. The problem is I don't know which mod is causing it.
NexusComa
Go figure out what object that is then create a personal patch mod with the default texture back in place then load that mod last on the load order .... :PMaybe Tes5Edit could help if you poke around in your mods to find who is changing textures ... may be able to fix it there or use the CK to patch the mod. NexusComa
To fix this would be as easy as getting the right mesh and dropping it in the mesh folder where it belongs ... Anything in the folders will be used before the mods resources. I'd like to help you but I have no clue what tent you're talking about. Can you post a picture of the tent the way it looks normally. Unless the mod maker did something stupid ... Edited April 15, 2016 by NexusComa
yobro1337
Hey there! Did you ever find a fix for this issue? I'm having a similar experience with a few tents in my game - it just a floating bedroll with a fur pelt placed at a 45 degree angle right on top of it. I could provide a pic if it helps. Thanks!
