unknownman115
Don't worry, most of the mods are weapon mods, weapon additions, the shogun heavy industries mod, some location mods, some patch mods, and some other mods like the nevada project I think. I do recall none of them are full blown character mods. I operate on a lenovo windows 8.1 gamer laptop, will that be an issue for me? I have majority of the mods installed via nexus mod manager whenever I can. However, advice of how to run the mods with nexus mod manager without repeated crashing? Don't worry I just want a better experience than I did on the xbox 360, I know what the storyline is about :P.
sullyvanj93
need a bit more info on the specs of your laptop. processor? graphics? shouldnt have an issue, but some mods do change quite a bit and can slow your game in heavily modified areas. some systems can handle it more than others

uhmattbravo
New Vegas Anti-Crash and a 4gb enabler are usually a good idea.
unknownman115
Error"Missing master, check load order" Um, how do I fix this error o.O?
uhmattbravo
If I had to float a guess, I'd say that a mod you have requires either another mod or dlc that's either in the wrong folder or not present on your system. Check through your load order to make sure you have all the required esps/esms for each mod you have added.
sullyvanj93
i think its just your load order. Uhmattbravo was half right. your mod needs a master file that isn't being loaded until after your mod loads, and sees the files lacking. I would use a mod manager, such as FOMM. even if you don't use them to download and install, they still have great tools. There will be a list of all mods you use. red or yellow text means there may be issues. you can change the order your mods loan in. therefore making the master load before the mod thats causing the issue. UnderwaterFrenetic
The learning curve can be steep at first, but Mod Organizer's a lifesaver-- the eventual ease of installing and uninstalling mods vastly outweighs the initial difficulty, but if you're dead set on NMM, highlighting the individual mods on the plugins tab'll usually tell you the name of whatever you're missing. Meanwhile, I used this to help me get off the ground-- it deals with stuff like merging mods and how to work Mod Organizer (if you're interested), consists of 140 or so mods, and last I checked, runs real smooooth. Good luck on your loadout, though, fella!

UnderwaterFrenetic
@Unknown Here you go! I've used it before, and it works like a charm, though you might also wanna look into nightvision mods and the like. Check out Gopher's Advanced Recon mods, which I never play without; they have helmets and things for seeing in the dark, among many other great features, so if you're into stealth, you're not just giving away your location willy-nilly. :P Happy trails!
