bcsp
Tbh you'd be better off running your desktop at 1440p resolution and set games to 4k. That's what I do. TesEdit isn't the only program that suffers at 4k. You can scale the text but it doesn't affect every program (including TesEdit) and looks kind of fuzzy at high values. For windows 7: Right click desktop -> screen resolution -> Make text and other items larger or smaller. Personally though I'd go with lowering the desktop resolution. Ok, so lower my res to your recommended. Thanks. Will report when I get home later today.

At 1440p it would open out at the far right end of my screen going through it, with only a smidgen of the programs left side, appearing on my screen, not letting me drag it to the center of my screen. Now my entire dashboard is at this horrible 1400p all for one program. lol. Too bad the devs don't add higher resolution to it OR allow us to go into its options and have it open at 1400p no matter what our screen resolutions are. Thanks again, you were very helpful. Cecell
I just had this problem on my laptop and figured out a quasi-fix. Right-click on the exe and under the compatibility tab check: Override high DPI scaling behaviorScaling performed by: and then in the drop-down box select 'Application' or 'System' depending upon whichever works best for you. System enhanced didn't work well for me at all but who knows...

Tiny font in a text based application like TES5Edit or SSEEdit is torturous. Edit: Wow necro Edited January 23, 2018 by Kego
Beebola
Had the same issue but the DPI override did the trick for me. Much appreciative for the existence of this thread.
