Blood texture mods problems..

Whenever I tried to use any of the blood texture mods (EBT, gore overhaul etc), my game always glitch or lose performance, even when using the lowest setting of the mod/s. I tried them one at a time, they all exhibit similar issues.

 

Issues:

1) Game hangs for 30+ seconds when loading exterior data. i.e. I move manually in the overworld far enough to trigger a load and it just hangs for 30+ seconds.

 

2) Game outright hangs at initial loading screen.

 

3) Game became noticeably laggy when any blood mod is active, even on lowest setting.

 

4) Game hangs at start up.

 

Any help will be appreciated, the vanilla blood is just not enough for me and I really hope I can get at least one of the blood mod working.
