kingtitan
Would it be possible for someone to make a mod that would enable the character to cast a spell or use an activator (I don't really care how it is implemented) that made 2 (or more) NPC's start sparring or fighting? I'm thinking kind of along the lines of when you are a spectator in the arena or the two blades that are "training" together in the exterior of cloud ruler temple. It doesn't really have to be anything fancy, I just have not been able to find any sort of mod that does this.
fg109
Doing it like the spectator in the arena would be easy... they're actually fighting it out. Doing it like the two blades training at Cloud Ruler Temple is (I think) impossible, because that requires using XMarkerHeadings with target data to a specific reference. I can't find any commands that will allow someone to change the target data on XMarkerHeadings.
kingtitan
Thanks fg109. So if you just didnt worry about the impossible one, would you be able to make that kind of a mod for me?
fg109
Is this related to what you were talking about in your update of the ATDungeonKeeper mod? I haven't tried it, so I would need to know a couple things: 1. How many NPCs are you talking about?2. Do you want them to actually fight to the death or not?3. Are they going to be in an enclosed space?4. If not, then do you want to allow other NPCs to interfere?
kingtitan
Well yes and no. I have actually wanted something like this for personal use for a long time but I just haven't requested it. If it works I may use it in ATDungeon (if you make it, with your permission of course), but even that would be on a need only basis. -I would say upwards to 4 at a time. I don't want anything crazy but I think at least 4 npc's fighting at one time is reasonable and entertaining.-Good second question.... I'm going to say yes simply because I have the console. If I want to watch them die all over again, all I have to do is type it into the console. That way, they can keep dying.-Yes. It makes things much simpler.-And for the last one I'm gonna go with a no. They will either be fighting or not. And feel free to tweak those responses to whatever is easier for you. I'm not too picky as long as it works without bugs.
fg109
Here you go. It took a while to get it done. I had some problems with the menu (do NOT use GoTo functions in a spell script) and it looks like for some NPCs (like the ones in the arena bloodworks) the faction disposition modifier wouldn't work properly. I suggest you not use this in sight of any guards, since I didn't do anything concerning crimes and bounties. EDIT: Updated the file. Changed it so that you can identify the winner (the one with the shock shield effect). Edited June 30, 2011 by fg109
kingtitan
Once again fg109... Haha if I could give you unlimited kudos I would do it instantly. You're the best bro.
