ILikeMorrowind
Regarding the official forum moderators: I just wanted to say they suck. I was banned over 20 times and only 1 time was worth getting banned for. Tons were just speaking my mind with conversations. One was about Daggerfall - how its system was much better than Morrowind. It was a simple compare/contrast conversation. Guess what... I get banned for 'bashing Morrowind.' I swear it's a controlled little kids forum. What happened to the TES spirit? People's discussions shouldn't have anything to do with the moderators. I thought discussions involved not agreeing with eachother and arguing about their beliefs. But they got banned for flaming? What the heck is a message board nowadays?
Marxist ßastard
And I bet #21 is soon to come... But, judging by your new name, you must have changed your ways... I guess one could even say that you like Morrowind...
ILikeMorrowind
I do. I created tons of mods, and the latest TES III: Velayia. When I said one was worth for banning me was when I disliked the game. But that was long long ago. I changed, make a screenname on the official forums and get banned instantly. My last sn there was "TheyDontForgive".
Acinonyk
I can totally agree with you, i 've had posts deleted for speaking my mind, and the forum moderators freak at you if you even say one thing off topic. I understand that flaming has to be controlled, but there's no need to be over-zealous about it. Dark0ne(the same one on these forums, i think...) once lost all the members on his forum because he was nazi-like about the control---it may not have helped that we recruited aload of em....but that's another story. Hey moderators! Tone it down a bit. This post will probably be deleted with the next 24 hours. <_<
ILikeMorrowind
No it wouldn't. It's a discussion....

Marxist ßastard
Well, there are many types of TES "spirits." Predominate on Vvardenfell, however, is the Ancestral Ghost.

ILikeMorrowind
TES SPIRIT:The ability to say "how are you" at the forums. More in depth, before Morrowind was made, Daggerfall built a great community who would share anything and had a small chance of getting booted out. The game had so much things today's world would find insane, and wouldn't want to deal with it. Then when Morrowind came out, it focused on teens - kids, and there they are trying to keep the forums a 'teen' enviroment. So in conclusion, the definition is lost, and we're living on the outcome of TES's fall. The vision was lost, things got narrowed down, more controlled. The plugins make up for this which is why I enjoy it now. But this seems like a roller coaster to me. As a student in computer science, I know instantly: once you have a vision of a world you want to create, you keep going with it. It got totally altered with Morrowind which is why I had a hard time accepting it. But now I'm like 'whatever' and enjoy 80% of it. Anyway, that's enough of a definition of TES Spirit. ;)
