flipdark95
Hey there, I'm having a issue where the textures of a custom outfit I'm making for a mod project aren't working because the Creation Kit can't find the Mipmaps of the texture. What's strange is that the textures have mipmaps, so I'm not really sure what the problem is.
NexusComa
Use NifSkope to track down what textures are being called from the mesh (or even change that)
flipdark95
I've already tried that. All the textures are linked correctly to the mesh and everything shows up fine in Nifskope, but when I load the model in the Creation Kit it's invisible because the textures aren't being noticed by it for some reason. NexusComa
Then it's not right ... the path should start with textures exp: textures\clutter\candles\HornCandles01.dds
SerchBoogie
make sure your textures are in the data folder of your skyrim installation directory. Every mod you make must be trated as a nexus mod, everything goes in their corresponding folder in the data folder of skyrim.
NexusComa
He said they show up in Nifskope but not the Creation Kit ... only possible way that could be is the paths are wrong in the meshes to the textures ... in fact the path have to have the full path to showing up in NifSkope but not the Creation Kit. For the Creation Kit you can't have the full path it needs to start with Textures as I said and go from there.
