chikawowwow
Couldn't find it sorry. I did find this on how many CPU Cores you should have which you may be interested in as it was mentioned earlier:http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpus/2010/07/05/how-many-cpu-cores-do-games-need/1 The article I was talking about is on that same forum, but you don't need that specific one I just wanted to show you for an example. If you poke around that bit-tech forum and the nexus 'forums', or ask the right people you should be able to make a fairly decent PC for Skyrim using what you've got with a few cheap additions. Nadimos
As a general rule of thumb, more or less anything that is more powerfull then a console will be able to run it and those havent improvedin many years, whereas computer do so constantly, at a much faster rate. So the question is probably do you also want to be able to run it with mods, that add higher resolution textures and stuff? Here you def should do some research on how to get the best for your money. There are lots of sites with info and tests out there and sometimes there are also pretty insighfull commentary for products to be found online at the computer part shops, which you can follow trail in order to find what suits you best. hector530
So im scared my current computer wont be able to run skyrim like i want it to. I know there isnt any actual requirements released for the game yet. But based on your knowledge of computers over mine. Do you think this would run it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.638451 i know its cheap in my current situation this the best i can do for awhile. so please do not say i should just wait till i have enough. trust me when i say its better then my current pc. if u like i will post my computers stats. to prove it. I mean my current computer can run anygame iv put it to minus lag cause of my cpu. believe it our not this computer is better then mine. I know its really low budget but im going to upgrade this when i get the money and time. I plan on getting this when i have the money to upgrade to it. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7023169&sku=A79-1100 and this (thoguh i might just get this with the bundle depends on my money i have) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231308 So if you guys could let me know a little our shed some light on this for me id appreciat it. (also i have the other components necessary to finish it up( disc drive, mouse, monitor) Also i have a Evga Nvidia Geforce 550ti 1gig(when i use canirunit.com it says 2gig(i dont know why if u could tell me this id appreciate it)) that im using with this build. Thanks to those who took the time to read this and respond i really do appreciate it. a overlocked 550ti, Six Core Processor, 8gigs of ram is more then enough for skyrim. people here are saying you'll get medium setting from it. imo dont be surprised if can run skyrim on high or highest setting no problem.
