Malchik
There are several threads on making money. If you look in spoilers you'll see most of 'em.
hundinman
A good way to make money is to kill the guy in the armor shops. They have gaurds but they suck. Empty your inventory with as much stolen merchandise as possible and sell to the armor dude in fighter's guild. If you are a member he gives good deals.. go back to the armor shop and make as many trips as it takes to sell all the stuff. I made about 20,000 Gold just in Bolmora
DragoonFurey
Alchemy, the alchemist in balmora has 3000g and sells muck and scales wich make drain personality, max your alchemy skill out making drain personality potions, only selling them to her when you need $ for ingreds, then when your alchemy is at 100 either buy or make some fortify strength potions, drink a few, grab all your potions, sell them to creeper you'll make out with around 50,000g, to make more money go buy ingredients for fortify intelligence, and make and drink them untill you start making potions worth 5000g sell those to creeper. ahh yes alchemy ownz j00. kadude
I believe that the best way getting money is to get to ghostgate...steal all the glass armor, taunt the guys with glassarmor...kill them...take the glass armor, and get to the mudcrab. I ended up with like 450k ! lol
loveme4whoiam
Like Malchik said, there are loads of threads about this. Not to mention the UESP: more quick cash If you are to busy (READ:lazy) to go here, i've been helpful and put them here for you. More Quick Cash4 November 2003 Here is another quick way to get money at the start of the game. Complete the first quest for the Excise and Census Office and collect the 4 mushrooms you need for the first mages guild quest. Go to Suran and enter the pawnshop, kill the person in it, go talk to the guard and get the bounty off your head, THEN go and get the bracer, darts and knife along with the other equipment on the table Go to Balmora and do the quests up until you put the fake soulgem into the desk and steal everything on the desk (including the platter). Go kill Ravirr and take his Daedric weapons. Go to Tel Branora and go into Sethan's Tradehouse. Now SAVE and check the desk in the basement area, the ONLY TAKE ANYTHING OUT OF IT if it's worth 16,000 gold or more. If not, reload. Go to Caldera and repair all of your stuff. Sell everything to the Creeper in Caldera. This will get you about 120000-130000 gold in about 45 minutes, without putting yourself in much harms way (2 fights). Starting Out Fast19 January 2003 When you leave the census take the silkstrider to Balmora. Get the "Sword of White Woe" located in the Eastern Guard Tower, on top of the closet. Then check out the other Guard Towers and take anything you can carry. Now go to the Fighters Guild and talk with Eydis Fireeye to become a member, so that the merchant downstairs likes you a bit more. Persuade him up to 80 or more points and sell him anything you have, except the "Sword of White Woe". Rest for 24 hours, then sell him the Sword, and take everything he has. Rest again for 24 hours and sell him anything. You now should have more than 5000 gold. Sign up in the Mages Guild and use the guild guide to teleport to Caldera. Enter Ghorak Manor. Upstairs is a Scamp called Creeper. You can sell him 5000 gold for 5000 gold every day. Do this til day 150. Then kill Creeper and take the about 700000 gold. Now you can train whatever you like to get three x5 multiplier each level. Doing so will raise all attributes up to 100 in less than 4 hours. Malchik
Well, if you are willing to do the above, make it easy for yourself. Download a mod called the island. Get yourself a couple of rising force potions. Take the boat from beneath the stilt strider in Balmora. Levitate to the door on the dwemer tower. Inside is over 1 million in gold plus almost every weapon (including many so-called unique items) in the game. It completely unbalances the game but then so IMO do many of the get rich quick solutions that are perfectly legitimate.
