Aeradom
Let's start at the beginning I suppose. So I installed FO4 and ran it to get to the menu screen and had no problems. I then installed the Reshade and ENB stuff, launched and everything was fine. Now however, after installing a few mods (Darker Nights, True Storms, Vivid Fallout, Fallout Season - Spring and WET) I decided to boot up the game to double check everything was right, and I'm glad I did. Because now, as the title suggest, game CTDs about two seconds after the main screen comes up. I immediately disables all the mods and still getting CTD. At this point, not sure what else to do except reset everything and start from scratch. And I'm willing to do that, however, I'd like ascertain the cause of said CTD so I can avoid it reoccurring. Edit: At this point, I gotta think it's something in the ini files, if I delete them and re-run the game, that should correct any issues on that front, yes? Edit 2: Double checked, all the .ini files are NOT set to read-only. Edited April 16, 2016 by Aeradom
Ethreon
Ini files don't change when you install mods. If you only added texturing mods, I'd say one of them didn't install correctly. You can try to unpack each mod manually, then test after it was installed. Uninstalling them seems to not work, as the textures are not removed. Also, when installing Darker Nights, only choose the patch for True Storms. Or even better, don't choose any patch, see it if works by itself. Yeah, I was a bit concerned when some of the texture overhauls didn't come with an esp. I know there reasons for that sort of thing, but yeah, did make me a bit uneasy. If uninstalling them doesn't work, I'm gonna have to reset the FO4 folder won't I?
Ethreon
Well, you shouldn't.. but if nothing else works, delete the Data folder and reacquire any lost files via steam.
