Deleted1205226User
Turning off all mods only made the modded content freak out more. The texture problem still persist. I think I'll reinstall and try to get it right this time. Thank you both for your help so far. I'm confused, how the modded content can be freaking out if the mods are de-activated? dubiousintent
I'm confused, how the modded content can be freaking out if the mods are de-activated?Depending upon your mod manager, de-activating a mod does not automatically restore the vanilla mesh/texture/animation/menu files (because they were overwritten during installation). If ArchiveInvalidation is involved, even removing the mod's installed loose files may not be enough to get the vanilla files in the BSA "activate" again due to how the particular ArchiveInvalidation implementation functions. Which is why it is sometimes necessary to extract files from the vanilla BSA in order for them to become accessible again. -Dubious- Edited April 19, 2016 by dubiousintent
