soulscorpion Posted July 2, 2011 Share Posted July 2, 2011 whenever i try to capture a soul (NPC if course) despite having 15 grand soul gems and 5 black soul gems it says that id do not have a soul gem big enough to trap the soul, i have tried to trap different people and even deactivated any magic mods i think could have caused it, does anyone know what could be wrong? please help? effeob Posted October 2, 2011 Share Posted October 2, 2011 im also having this problem, im running OOO, and about 50 other mods, so not sure which one it is... also - important note: you cannot trap humanoids in soul gems, only in black soul gems....that includes dremora and any other humanoid types (all playable races). only monster npcs can be trapped in the normal soul gems 1 to 5 + azuras. if you still get that message when trying to trap, say, a dog...then ya something is wrong.
