Rohok Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Hey all. Recently I rolled through RealVision ENB and carefully installed every mod it suggested I install. I chose an option when it said Mod A or Mod B and I followed everything to the letter. AA and all that is disabled and I used my Nvidia Control Panel to disable what the pictures told me to disable. I used loot to sort my mods and TES5Edit to clean my masters. I installed SKSE and Enb and everything a Skyrim player should have right off the bat. Then I got the Skyrim Legendary Patch and Sky UI and booted up my game to see if it all worked. Once I got to the main menu, everything started turning bluish purple. It rose up from the base of my screen like a plague and consumed everything but the buttons for the main menu. I clicked new game and started up my adventure only to find that my game looked like this. Any ideas on what's going on? I have every mod from the RealVision EnB page except for General Recommended Mods and Body/Face and all that. NexusComa Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 That is the blue of a missing texture not anything to do with an ENB.Under every texture in the game is that blue ...
Ondrea Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 The purple textures usually mean either missing textures or you are running out of memory and can't process all those textures. You're listing the esp's so not sure how heavy a texture load you have. Were you running fine before installing the ENB and all the extra files? Did you have an ENB before? Maybe try disabling each new mod you downloaded one at a time and see if the problem persists. Did you make the required changes to your skyrimpref.ini? Although it's probably not related, just a quick look at your files, I don't see the Legendary patch you say you have or the unofficial high resolution patch. You're also using both Pure Waters and Realistic Water Two. Since you have several Realistic Water Two files I assume that's the one you want, so get rid of that Pure Waters esp. One of the recommended files was just the landscape textures from Pure Waters. That's under optional files on the Pure Waters page and is just a texture replacer. Don't use the main file. If it is a vram issue, there's some great general guidelines over at the STEP forums to make sure you have everything as optimized as you can.
Thallassa Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Heh, it's not a VRAM issue.Make sure you have a skyrim-textures.bsa in your skyrim folder, and in skyrim.ini you have these lines:[Archive]sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsasResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsaIf you are missing the first, verify local files in steam. If you are missing the second, just add the lines the way I have them above.
