Open <username>/appdata/local/fallout4/

 

Edit your plugins.txt file with your editor of choice.

 

Add an asterisk before each mod .esp or .esm (you don't need to do this for the DLC).

 

It should look like this:

 

*SettlementKeywords.esm

 

Set plugins.txt to read only.

 

Run the game with either the default fallout launcher or the F4SE launcher (not NMM).

 

Your mods will now work again.

All my mods stopped working and I have been rummaging around the forums looking for the answer and found it in the news section. The survival beta on steam disables all the mods. Steam could have warned me, you know just as a courtesy.

 

They didn't warn you because technically you haven't been given the green light to start modding, since the official modding tool has not been released. So, they didn't give you the heads up for something you're not supposed to be doing anyway.
