davidlallen
I don't see anything relating to actually installing the G.E.C.K. there. It is right there in the first post:After you download, install into the same directory where FNV is installed. This will avoid messages such as "libvorbis not found". If you had searched this forum and the adjacent troubleshooting forum for "libvorbis" you would have found the answer three times.

But im 99% sure I did install it in the same directory as New Vegas and it still says that.
Sunnie
It needs to go in the same folder that FalloutNV.exe is (??\Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas). If you try to start GECK and you get an error saying "libvorbisfile.dll is missing", you most certainly either; A) did not put GECK in that folder; or; B) the game is not installed properly and the DLLs are actually not in that folder. Look in your "fallout new vegas" folder and see if libvorbis.dll and libvorbisfile.dll are in there. Edited July 4, 2011 by Sunnie

But whenever I click on something in it, anything, it says the Garden of Eden Creation Kit has stopped working. Any solutions? davidlallen
It may be helpful to read more in the forum about other first time user experiences. It takes more than a minute, longer on slow machines, to load the game data.
