Bear73
Hi, I'm fairly new to modding, so don't really know what's going on here. I was able to install NMM and all the mods I wanted. Everything was running fine. I stopped playing for a couple days and when I sat down to play today, it couldn't load my saved game because:"This save file relies on content that is no longer present. Some objects may no longer be available.Continue Loading? Armor Keywords.esmSettlementKeywords.esmHomemaker.esmSpringCleaning.esmDarkerNights.esm... If I continue with the load, the game just crashes. In NMM all of these mods are active. Is there a patch that I'm missing?

Is there a patch that I'm missing? From what I can gather, apparently the latest update has broken NMM. There's apparently a work around where you put star in front of everything, but that's not really working for me. Though it did work for someone else. paulmcco
I'm seeing the same exact thing. It started yesterday 4/19. I tried the plugins.txt fix, it did not work. I tried re-installing NMM, no luck. I would be nice to get a resolution, I've gotten used to playing with mods, no desire to go back to vanilla. Is there a formal place to make a bug report on Nexus mods or is this it?
bben46
The work around is only needed if you are participating in the Bethesda beta testing for their new survival mode. The Bethsoft beta has nothing to do with Nexus or NMM. If you have opted in to beta testing on Steam, you are a volunteer to test the survival mode. If you do not want to be a beta tester, you must turn off beta testing on Steam. Then re enable all of your mods that Beth and not Nexus removed from your game. The mods are not deleted, just not activated.
steve40
Yes. Apparently a new version of the beta came out yesterday.

The above mentioned add * in the plugins file doesn't work for me, since I use Mod Organizer which keeps mods out of the data folder, and thus I don't have anything in my plugins folder. As long as Fallout is run from within Mod Organizer it recognizes activated mods as though those mods were in the data folder.

Shomer5
My game is broken now too. I got a popup from NMM stating that this was not their fault, but that uninstalling and reinstalling every single mod would fix it. It didn't. I can't even start a new game. I guess I'm done with FO4 until they fix it.
