Mods not working.

Are you using the newest version of the game or the Survival Beta? I haven't been home yet today but I'm told the newest version changed the way you activate mods.

1) Install your mods with Nexus Mod Manager
2) Close your mod manager.
3) Find "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Skyrim\plugins.txt", right click > properties > uncheck "read only"

4) Open "plugins.txt"
5) Add an asterisk before all .esp mods.

Your plugins.txt list should look something like
Fallout4.esm
DLCrobots.esm
*Console-enable.esp

*Coolmod.esp
(you may place any other .esp here with an * before it, .esm should NOT have an *)

6) Save "plugins.txt"
7) Find "plugins.txt", right click > properties > check "read only"
 Load FO4 WITH THE VANILLA GAME LAUNCHER NOT NMM.

You must then repeat this process every time you make any changes to your mod list or open Nexus Mod Manager. Yes, every time. It's annoying but until they updated NMM this is how you must do it.

Ok, I'm an idiot I was looking in my steam games folder not my user appdata folder.

The text file looks like this:

Fallout4.esm
DLCRobot.esm
DLCworkshop01.esm
Companion Infinite Ammo and Unbreakable Power Armour.esm
FusionCoreCrafting.esp
UnlimitedFollowers.esp
No Fusion Core Drain.esp
Companion Infinite Ammo.esp

This just resolved my issue! I thought the latest DLC had screwed up the mod load order permanently. This trick with the asterisk worked and I can load my saves again. Thanks!
