Adiseye
Ok so I got into modding skyrim 10 months ago and quit a few weeks later. I want to get back into it and do a few more play throughs, so i updated nexus mod manager but it told me i needed to completely reinstall... Ok, that's fine. I reinstall Nexus and it cant reinstall my files, Idc thats alright. Skyrim is still launching with mods because I forgot that I had a couple dozen mods from the steam workshop too (Idk wtf i was doing last year...) I deleted the 'Nexus Mod Manager' folder and started Nexus, luckily for me there was no problems. Nexus just offered to remake the folder. I launch skyrim and despite the fact that I don't have any mods in nexus, a bunch of mods are launching when I start SKSE. I remove all the workshop mods and try again... and skyrim f*#@ing breaks. It launches, but once it gets to the main menu it crashes. I reinstalled it and removed SKSE and it still won't launch. I have a very fast computer so my specs are not an issue. I know that I f*#@ed around with the files, I did this too myself. I have no idea wtf to do now. If someone could PLEASE help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance! Riprock
I feel you need to manually make sure the files are deleted- all of them, even the vanilla files- and start from a fresh vanilla install.
